The vast majority of the roads will be quiet and scenic: from dry, sandy, coastal back-roads in the south, to meandering mountain passes in the central provinces, and the increasingly famous limestone landscape along the Lao border on the Ho Chi Minh Road, near Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. Only 200km of the entire route will be on the notoriously dusty, dirty, and busy Highway 1: most of the time – if all goes according to plan – we’ll have the roads to ourselves.

Day one : Ha Noi to Ninh Binh ( 95 km )

We begin this motorcycle adventure with a stunningly beautiful ride southest to the UNESCO listed : Tam Coc – Bich Dong . Overnight in Ninh Binh

Day two :  Ninh Binh – Nghe An ( Vinh city ) ( 235 km )

Today we ride Ho Chi Minh trail . The Ho Chi Minh Road (not to be confused with the Ho Chi Minh Trail, most of which is in Laos) runs along the mountainous spine of Vietnam, known as the Trường Sơn Range. For much of its length, the road is a quiet, well-made, easily accessible, two-lane highway which sees very little traffic compared to the other major north-south road, Highway 1. Day Nine : Kon Tum – Pleiku ( 230km )

Today we ride from Kom Tum to Pleiku .Explore the downtown area in search of museums and boutiques…or that next delicious meal. What tickles your fancy? A delectable five-course supper at the restaurant you’ve been hearing about? Or perhaps you’d rather read the paper while sipping hot coffee at one of the cafes scattered throughout town. Take in a show at the theatre, or just walk along down the main thoroughfare, watching people wander past.
